WRITE /right/ - to stare at a blank piece of paper until drops of blood form on the page. - R. Lederer.

One of the greatest blessings I've had in life is the ability to get paid to do something I love - write. It's not necessarily something I get paid a LOT to do, and sometimes I work for things like free comics or DVDs, but the idea that I can earn something for "working my craft" is a real kick to me.

IGN - Manga Reviews

For the past few years I've reviewed manga for the pop-culture site IGN.COM. It's a great catch-all site for pretty much anything you want to know as far as entertainment goes. They cover music, movies, animation, and of course my favorite - comics!

Superheroes-R-Us - DVD Reviews

I also review Blu-Ray DVDs for this popular site that covers all things superheroic, from the books to the merchandise to the many new films coming out that cover the genre. They cover a lot of bases and I'm more than happy to lend my voice, er...hands...to their work.

The easiest way to catch all I've written for them is to go here, and click on any review that catches your eye, but be sure to catch all the other great stuff on the site as well, okay? Thanks.

THUGS

I'm the writer for the greatest indie comic ever produced in the history of everything! Yes, people actually do WRITE this stuff, believe it or not! I grew up on a steady diet of the old Adam West Batman show, and I often wondered as I watched them get in and out of every cliffhanger ending - what would happen if one of the henchmen actually got in a lucky shot and offed the both of them?

Well, obviously I can't kill Batman and Robin or I'd get my butt sued off. And deservedly so. However, I can parody the concept in this rollicking sendup of all things comics. My partner in crime, Flint Lockjaw, handles art chores at together we brew up all kinds of ideas on what's going on in comics that really needs to be skewered.

Click the link above to order an issue (or two! THREE!!!) from Indyplanet.com, or go to www.thugsonline.com and read the current storyline for yourself.
